چکیده

Question Malus sylvestris is considered an endangered tree species in Central Europe. Hybridization with domestica poses a serious threat to the genetic integrity of wild species. Here we investigate whether M. and hybrid × occur same habitat or have different ecological niches threatened by displacement hybrid. Location Northern Bavaria. Methods Taxon delimitation was accomplished using six microsatellite markers 613 Germany-wide references 75 cultivars. To determine differences between hybrids, light availability for trees estimated via gap fractions hemispherical photographs. Soil particle size pH values were determined each horizon. Vegetation relevé data collected, mean Ellenberg indicator calculated. For differences, means combination frequency patterns parameters compared, logistic models detrended correspondence analysis (DCA) community Results Genetic identified 22 11 specimens, meaning that study area taxon much more frequent than Ecological site its best explained availability, moisture value. In contrast demands hybrid, tolerated wet soil flooding even somewhat shadier conditions later successional stages. DCA revealed composition plant communities which taxa found primarily driven moisture. Conclusions Our suggested niches, are appropriate reduce risk replacement sylvestris. Hence, these findings provide important implications targeted planning in-situ conservation strategies genomes low levels admixture help protect suitable apple.

Differentiation between Light and Fire in Quran and Islamic Mysticism And Its Influence on Islamic Painting

Abstract:Islamic painting is clearly influenced by the fundamental principles of Islamic thought. Not only this affects the meaning and content but also affects the form and structure of painting influenced the principles of Islamic thought. For example, the Quran as the main reference of Islamic thought expresses Islamic thought about color. We know that the color is the emission of the light ...

Soil microbial community variation correlates most strongly with plant species identity, followed by soil chemistry, spatial location and plant genus

Soil ecologists have debated the relative importance of dispersal limitation and ecological factors in determining the structure of soil microbial communities. Recent evidence suggests that 'everything is not everywhere', and that microbial communities are influenced by both dispersal limitation and ecological factors. However, we still do not understand the relative explanatory power of spatia...

Plant community and soil conditions individually affect soil microbial community assembly in experimental mesocosms

Soils harbor large, diverse microbial communities critical for local and global ecosystem functioning that are controlled by multiple and poorly understood processes. In particular, while there is observational evidence of relationships between both biotic and abiotic conditions and microbial composition and diversity, there have been few experimental tests to determine the relative importance ...

The Role of Light and Soil Moisture in Plant Community Resistance to Invasion by Yellow Starthistle (Centaurea solstitialis)

To resist establishment by an invasive plant, a community may require one or more species functionally similar to the invader in their resource acquisition pattern. In this study, communities consisting of native winter annual forbs, non-native annual grasses, native perennials, or a combination of the two native communities were established with and without Centaurea solstitialis to determine ...
